ONSET CAPE VERDEAN FESTIVAL
The Onset Cape Verdean Festival will
be held Saturday, August 13th from 12:00 to 6:00 pm in
Onset, MA.– “Rain Date” Sunday, August 14th.
Parking is available at (3)
specified lots along Onset Ave. for $5.
A FREE shuttle is provided to the festival site from 11:00am-
7:00 pm.
OCVFA
is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
There is NO charge for the festival.
The Onset Cape Verdean Festival is funded strictly through
donations from Major Sponsors, Community Businesses and individual
supporters of the festival.
A FREE Program is provided with information on Cape Verde
Islands, Cape Verdean history, music and food.

There will be 20 food vendors
selling traditional Cape Verdean dishes, popular American food. and
Desserts along with 80 regular vendors selling Cape Verdean
artifacts, clothing, arts and crafts, jewelry and many other things.
All spots for food vendors are sold…but if you are
interested in a regular spot…call Mike Roderick at 508-789-8726.
This year’s entertainment will
feature Cape Verdean groups from the New Bedford, Brockton,
Pawtucket and Boston communities.
The main headliner this year will be the dynamic MONTE CARA
Band. Also performing,
Spencer and Friends, John Miranda and Band, and Cape Verdean
Friends.

opportunity to display their
